WATERPROOF REELS, PROVEN.
The next time you see a company promoting a waterproof reel, ask them if “that specific reel” you are going to purchase has been pressure tested to ensure it is 100% waterproof. If they did not test “that specific reel” then they cannot prove “that specific reel” is waterproof, they can only claim it is based on blueprints and theory. In manufacturing there are +/- as it relates to variance in machining and target dimensions. During assembly, sometimes using a 1.1mil o-ring versus a 1.0mil o-ring will make all the differences because of variances, but a company cannot know which size o-ring is best unless they pressure test each reel before it is marked “FINISHED”, to prove it is waterproof. Now ask yourself, how many mass-production shops will test each reel they build before it is boxes. At ZeeBaaS, we not only test each reel we build, we also test each reel we service.
