The ZX-22 spool is the second smallest of our spool sizes and it provides you with 30lbs+ of smooth drag. This spool size will also provide you with 32” retrieve per turn and manage 350/30lb braid or 450/12lb mono.

The ZX-22 easily interchanges with a ZX-20 reel setup, but if you have a ZX-25 or a ZX-27 you can remove 3 screws and bump down to our smaller rotor. Once the smaller rotor is installed you can use your Z for a ZX-20 or a ZX-22. It’s that simple.
