The ZX spinning reels by ZeeBaaS has many parts that require lubrication and seals that keeps saltwater out. Annual maintenance should be performed on your reel to assure it will function without failure. Seals should be inspected and replaced if required. The gears should be lubricated using only our specially developed lubrication, Z-Lube. This lubrication is available from dealers or directly from ZeeBaaS.

Remember, one of the key points to the ZX line it was designed to be user-friendly - when it comes to maintenance - however, we don't expect every owner will care to maintain their reel themselves. If that is the case, or if you have any concerns with self-maintenance, we always recommend sending the reel in for your annual inspection and maintenance. Cost for this service is only $49.95, but assures you that the maintenance is done right and your reel will last.

The breakdown shown to the right took less than 3 minutes for a trained person to disassemble. Please refer to your user manual for proper instructions and the limited lifetime warranty.
